This meditation touches again a few of the important topics: impermanecne, self-liberation and equanimity. These insights or results are all important for the psychological attitude with with one encounters life, and where meditation is helpful.
In particular, the "struggle" with experience (trying to prevent or block whatever comes up) is reduced or eliminated, and therefore suffering.
